This first set of songs was used in the funeral. All of these samples are low-quality for bandwidth reasons. If you wish to hear a high-quality version, I highly recommend you support the artists and buy the albums yourselves.
* P Diddy - "I'll Be Missing You"   This remake of the Police' hit "Every Breath You Take" was written to a fallen rap star, but it still carries a powerful message of love, despite whatever preconceptions you may have of rap.

      I have taken this song offline, due to abuse comming from one or two websites.

* Buddy Jewell - "Help Pour Out The Rain (Lacey's Song)"   Buddy Jewell is an extremely gifted newcomer to the country music scene. The song "Help Pour Out The Rain (Lacey's Song)" is a heart-felt gift to the world, from a father, relating a conversation with his daughter. I strongly recommend picking up his debut, self-titled album.

* The Wolverines - "65 Roses"
The Wolverines - "65 Roses" (video)
  The Austrailian rock'n'country group Wolverines have proven themselves gifted, sincere, powerful, and loving. The song "65 Roses" (off the "Wolverines and Roses" album), was inspired by the story of a young child whose sister had CF. The story goes that the young boy, unable to say "Cystic Fibrosis", mistakenly thinks that his sister has received 65 Roses. He couldn't understand how simple roses could make his sister so terribly ill, until he grows up and realizes that she did not receive flowers, but a disease, Cystic Fibrosis.
  The single of "65 Roses" is available from Cystic-L CF Email List store for $10. The full album, "Wolverines and Roses" is not available in the US.

  This second set of songs was not used in the funeral, but most of them were considered. All of these samples are low-quality for bandwidth reasons. If you wish to hear a high-quality version, I highly recommend you support the artists and buy the albums yourselves.

Sherrie Austin - "Streets of Heaven"   Sherrie Austin is another very talented country singer. This song is a conversation with God. A mother, pleading for her dying daughters life, begging God not to take her child yet. Struggling with letting go, and finally accepting God's will. It's very powerful, especially if you have ever lost a child or sibling.

Fled Five - "The Highest Hill"
  Michigan-based Fled Five has been described as a "cross between modern rock ... and traditional heavy metal", and their music carries a powerful message. The song "Highest Hill" was inspired by a 12 year old boy named Chuck (Son of Melinda Sue). This is an incredibly powerful song, especially if you take the time to pay attention to the lyrics.

Rod Stewart - "Forever Young"   Yes, this is the same song used in some of the commericials for Pampers brand diapers. It is also an incredibly touching and wonderful song about a parents wish for their child to remain "forever young".

Rod Stewart's website - Note: makes heavy use of Flash, may be slow to load and function.
