| CF (Cystic Fibrosis): A genetic disease affecting the lungs and pancrease. People with CF usually require frequent breathing treatments and chest therapy to help remove the thick, stick mucus caused by a faulty CFTR. They also usually have to take enzymes with most meals, to help their body digest and absorb foods, especially fats. |
| ICU Psychosis: A form of delirium (or acute brain failure) caused by the stress of extended stays in a critical care unit. Symptoms may include aggitation, depression, disorientation, and hallucination; due to these effects, ICU Psychosis can be very dangerous.
